Mark Settle is a Senior Engineering Advisor who provides technical input on issues before the FCC and NTIA, especially as related to frequency allocations, unlicensed devices, equipment authorization, and frequency coordination.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Settle was the Chief of the Policy and Rules Division in the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology, where he oversaw rulemaking proceedings, requests for waivers, orders regarding spectrum allocations, use of unlicensed spectrum, interference mitigation techniques, and technical rules. Mr. Settle was a primary liaison between the FCC and NTIA and various Federal Agencies.

Before joining the FCC, Mr. Settle was with NTIA where he worked on various spectrum management issues related to FCC rulemakings, and ITU World Radio Conferences.
