Kyle D. Dixon has more than 16 years of experience in the communications field and has held positions in government, non-profit and private practice capacities. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dixon worked across various bureaus at the FCC. As the FCC’s Deputy Chief of the Media Bureau and Special Counsel to the Chairman for Broadband Policy, he helped to establish Internet policy and create regulatory frameworks for broadband services. In addition, he served as legal advisor to FCC Chairman Michael K. Powell and worked in the Wireline Competition and Media Bureaus. Prior to that, Mr. Dixon served as senior fellow and director of the Federal Institute for Regulatory Law and Economics at The Progress & Freedom Foundation, a non-profit think-tank specializing in communications law and policy.
