Neil A. Chilson has experience in researching, drafting and filing pleadings before the FCC, state and federal courts and state agencies.Recent subjects include spectrum policy, network neutrality, and cable set-top box rule waiver requests. Mr. Chilson also has significant experience in Section 106 environmental compliance procedures for wireless communications towers.
During law school, Mr. Chilson served in many roles including Executive Vice President for The George Washington Law School Student Bar Association which won the American Bar Association’s “Student Bar Association of the Year” award for two consecutive years.
Mr. Chilson brings a strong technical and engineering background to his practice of telecommunications law. Prior to law school, Mr. Chilson studied computer science and worked as a software engineer, finishing his M.S. in Computer Science during his first year in law school. In graduate school he specialized in human-computer interaction and interface design, an expertise with relevance to telecommunications disabilities issues.
