Mary O’Connor joined Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP after 12 years of experience representing telecommunications clients in a wide variety of regulatory and transactional matters, both in private practice and as in-house counsel to telecommunications carriers. She was named a partner of the firm in 2004. Ms. O’Connor’s practice is focused on telecommunications law. She has extensive experience in all aspects of wireless regulation and policy matters such as researching, drafting, and filing pleadings on behalf of clients in application and rulemaking proceedings before the FCC, assisting clients with FCC auctions, obtaining FCC authorizations for new and modified facilities, completing substantial service notifications, and obtaining license renewal authorizations. Ms. O’Connor also has experience in all aspects of transactional matters, including the negotiating and drafting of letters of intent and asset/stock purchase agreements for the purchase and sale of wireless facilities, conducting due diligence, preparing and filing applications to obtain FCC consent for transactions, drafting closing documents to consummate transactions, and conducting closing
Ms. O’Connor has represented wireless communications carriers before the FCC since 1994 in regulatory licensing and compliance matters involving wireless broadband, wireless cable, cellular, and microwave services.
