Robert D. Primosch has been practicing communications law since 1986 and has been a partner of the firm since 1995. He provides regulatory counsel to broadband service providers, cable television and other multichannel video service providers, radio and television broadcast stations, and proponents of new wireless video, data, and multimedia technologies. Mr. Primosch has represented large telecommunications companies, smaller entrepreneurs and trade associations before the federal agencies on matters that directly affect the telecommunications industry.  In addition, he counsels start-up companies on new uses of spectrum for broadband services,  and on obtaining funding from the Federal stimulus program.

Mr. Primosch has provided extensive transactional support to clients in connection with sales and acquisitions of telecommunications properties. In addition, he has appeared before the federal Court of Appeals on behalf of local television stations and has represented cable operators and television stations before the United States Copyright Office on compulsory licensing matters. Mr. Primosch has also authored a number of articles on current communications issues.
