Caitlin is passionate about energy. As a trusted advisor to clients in a variety of network industries, she infuses every engagement with her own energy and passion. Throughout her career, Caitlin has been at the forefront of the country’s most challenging energy issues.  Utilities, large customers/data centers, and other stakeholders routinely seek her counsel in state public utility commission proceedings and related federal and court proceedings.

With a particular interest in the convergence of energy and environmental law, her work often involves ratemaking, resource planning, and competition/regulated monopoly issues. Having spent nearly three years seconded to a Fortune 500 utility company, Caitlin has intimate utility-side experience in strategic energy policy and advocacy work.  Caitlin has over a decade of experience working and transacting with data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, and utilities across the country on large load interconnection and power procurement issues.  She is adept at drafting and negotiating commercial facilities and power supply agreements, large load and economic development tariffs, and interconnection processes.  Caitlin is also a leader in wildfire mitigation policy in the Mountain West, serving lead roles in wildfire mitigation plan development, advocacy, and litigation.

Caitlin’s interest in energy and environment aligns with her personal passion for the outdoors and travel. As an avid cyclist and skier, she’s usually willing to take business meetings on the slopes when she’s not in a hearing room.
