From established satellite operators to new space startups, from mega-constellations to cubesats, Chris is passionate about helping clients get their ideas off the ground and into orbit. He has extensive experience in the satellite industry and understands the many regulatory hurdles that satellite operators face in the United States. Chris advises on matters ranging from satellite spectrum policy to orbital debris mitigation, with an emphasis on FCC regulatory processes.  He also assists clients with all manner of FCC filing needs, including license applications for earth stations and space stations, petitions for U.S. market access, and comments on rulemaking proceedings.

Chris returned to WBK in 2025 after spending several years as Associate General Counsel for Regulatory and Government Affairs at a leading satellite operator.  Prior to joining WBK Chris worked as an Attorney Advisor in the Satellite Division of the FCC’s International Bureau, where he was heavily involved in a range of satellite licensing and policymaking activities. Chris holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Denver and a J.D. from The George Washington University.
