Karen Milne has twenty years of experience advising clients in the media, satellite, telecommunications, wireless, and high-tech industries.  Most recently, Karen served as SVP, U.S. Regulatory for one of the largest media companies, where she led the regulatory function and served as the subject matter expert on communications and other regulatory matters.  Karen brings this experience, along with her significant expertise in advising on regulatory, compliance, policy, and transactional matters, to her clients to offer practical legal advice on complex issues.  Prior to her in-house role, Karen most recently was a Partner at WBK, where her clients included broadcast and media companies, private equity funds, and other communications companies.  She regularly assists clients with structuring transactions to comply with applicable regulations, including the FCC’s foreign ownership and media ownership rules, as well as navigating and managing the FCC and PUC regulatory approval process.  Karen also has advised clients on legal and policy issues relating to artificial intelligence.
