Kimia joins WBK from the Federal Communications Commission, where she started as an Honors Attorney in 2020.  With experience in broadcast radio, broadband mapping, and wireless issues, she brings a depth of knowledge and an understanding of the Commission’s regulatory framework.

During her time at the Commission, Kimia held various roles across different parts of the agency.  Notably, she was Assistant Counsel on the Broadband Data Task Force, where she helped stand up the Broadband Data Collection and implement the challenge processes.  Due to her expertise regarding the National Broadband Map, Kimia traveled to many different states, localities, and Tribal communities on behalf of the Commission to help educate and engage with stakeholders.

Kimia grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire.  She is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, enjoys staying active outdoors, and loves playing with her dog “Rumi”.
